FWCC thrives on the power of our community. We need you to continue eliminating clothing insecurity and reducing textile waste with care. Learn more about individual and group volunteering below. For inquiries that are not answered below, please contact volunteer@fortworthcollab.org. 

What do volunteers help FWCC do?

  • Sort incoming clothing donations & restock our storefront.
  • Prepare emergency bags for partner agencies, schools, and service providers.
  • Help support our storefront during Open Shop days & assist with Fill-A-Bag events.
  • Assist with special events like our Back to School Bash and community outreach efforts.

Get Involved - Weekly Opportunities

Days/times subject to change. Please check POINT for a current list of upcoming opportunities.

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays l Help sort, restock the store, and prepare emergency bags.
  • Social Sort Fridays l Enjoy pizza, drinks, and community as we prepare for upcoming Open Shop Days.
  • Open Shop 1st and 3rd Saturdays l Help run Open Shop Saturdays where FWCC provides free clothing to community members.
  • Fill-A-Bags & Other Events l Assist FWCC in helping run Fill-a-bags and other clothing distribution events throughout the month.

How do I sign up?

All of our volunteer opportunities are listed through the POINT app/website. See instructions for POINT below!

Once you create an account, search for “Fort Worth Community Collaborative” or use this link to find our profile. 

  1. Scroll through the upcoming opportunities and select the event you want to volunteer at.
  2. Press the orange “Go” button, select shift(s) that work for you, and press “Next.”
  3. Confirm your shift(s) and you’re ready to go! If you are a new volunteer, please arrive 10 minutes early to complete onboarding paperwork.

Group Volunteering 

Looking for a volunteer opportunity for your corporate group, school, nonprofit – or even a girls night out giving back? We want to collaborate with you! Fill out our interest form below and we will be in touch. Volunteers will help support our regular programming through sorting, restocking the store, preparing emergency bags, and more.
