Connecting basic needs with dignity and respect, without barriers.
In November 2025, the federal government announced that SNAP benefits were being suspended. We at FWCC knew that meant many families in our neighborhood would go without reliable food support. After identifying significant gaps in existing food support within the 76116 area, FWCC developed a food distribution program designed to meet needs quickly, consistently, and with dignity.
Our Community Table program continues to meet the community's needs with compassion, respect, and nourishment. We provide meal kits, pet food, and other necessities to community members, barrier-free. In addition to our regular food distribution, we also provide:
- car kits, which include an entire day's worth of food and snacks that doesn't require access to a kitchen
- cat and dog food
- hygiene kits, including period products
- diapers and formula
Resources can be accessed at 8645 Camp Bowie West Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76116 at the days & times below. No ID or application required.
- Meal kits feed a family of four and are available on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through Cowtown Closet during store hours until supplies run out. Please go to the check-out counter and fill out a quick form to receive your meal kits.
- There are food, hygiene items, and other resources in our free area at Cowtown Closet that you are welcome to take during store hours!
